GST was introduced last May and there have been two GST return dates for businesses since then. So why are we not being told how much has been collected? We contacted the GST team and were told that there was currently no public information but we should see something by February. We contacted the Assistant Treasury Minister who, although he showed surprise and concern, has not got back to us with an answer. We have since heard that the Treasury Minister is talking about as late as summer! Don’t you think we should have read some figures by now?
